Dominic Colosi, analytical labs support technician, has received a University Staff Excellence Award. Dominic’s work was noted for his remarkable adaptation of the analytical labs for in-person instruction under the unusual conditions of the last three years while maintaining high standards and an ethic of constant improvement.
Pat Egan, department administrator, also has received a University Staff Excellence Award. Pat’s nomination highlighted his calm and capable management of our department through three recent crises: the flood in February 2019, the COVID pandemic in 2020, and the shutdowns of the Daniels and Mathews buildings of the Chemistry Complex in the summer and fall of 2021.
