Professors Song Jin and Frank Keutsch recently received notable UW-Madison research awards. Professor Jin received the WARF Romnes Faculty Fellowship. This fellowship recognizes and supports faculty members who are still relatively early in their careers and have been promoted to tenured positions within the previous six years. The Graduate School Research Committee, which reviews nominees for the fellowship, looks for professors whose research is high quality, significant, and productive. Professor Keutsch received the Vilas Associate Award, which provides partial research support over a two-year period. The award recognizes “research of the highest quality and significance,” and is awarded by the UW-Madison Graduate School.
