Danny Fredrickson Receives a US Department of Energy Early Career Award

We are pleased to announce that Danny Fredrickson is the recipient of a US Department of Energy Early Career Award for his proposed work on “Chemical Frustration: A Design for the Discovery of New Complex Alloy and Intermetallic Phases”.  According to DOE, the Early Career Awards “…are intended to bolster the nation’s scientific workforce by providing support to exceptional researchers during the crucial early career years, when many scientists do their most formative work”. The award includes a 5-year research grant from the Dept. of Energy Office of Basic Energy Sciences (BES).  Please join us in congratulating Danny on being such an exceptional researcher!!
