Their work involves designing and synthesizing bioactive compounds, including both small molecules (e.g. heterocycles, peptides, and carbohydrates) and antibody conjugates. They also develop various cell-based and biochemical assays, as well as animal models, to evaluate the pharmacological properties of bioactive compounds.
