Dr. Brian Esselman, assistant organic laboratory director, is the first recipient of the UW-Madison College of Engineering Harvey Spangler Award for Technology Enhanced Instruction from outside the College of Engineering. The annual Spangler Award, was established to recognize members of the UW-Madison faculty and instructional staff who use innovative technology-based teaching and learning methods. Esselman, who teaches Chemistry 343, 344, and 345, is recognized for his work with students in these courses.
