We are delighted to announce that the Hirschfelder Prize winner for 2009-10 is Professor Peter Wolynes from UCSD. Many of you know Peter as a brilliant wunderkind, receiving his PhD at 21, tenure at 26, into the National Academy at 38, etc. He has done absolutely pioneering theoretical work on protein folding and on the glass transition. He will speak about this and more during his lectures in Madison on October 12-14, 2009. Please mark your calendars!
