Professor Robert West has been appointed as Distinguished Professor of Chemistry under the “World Class University” program of the Korean Science and Engineering Foundation. Beginning in March, he’ll be spending two months a year in Korea, for each of the next 3 years, supervising joint research and giving lectures. He’ll be based at the Wonju campus of Yonsei University, which is the home of the major institute for silicon chemistry in Korea. Congratulations Bob!
