We are delighted to report that Professor Laura Kiessling has been elected to Membership in the National Academy of Sciences! Only 72 new members, in all fields of science, are elected each year, so this is one of the highest honors that a scientist can aspire to. Election to this August body signals that Laura’s achievements in chemical biology are truly outstanding, and that their impact has been truly exceptional.
