Brian Popp, a graduate student in Shannon Stahl’s group, has won the 2006 Perkin Scholarship. This prestigious award is sponsored by the Society of Chemical Industry, and is affiliated with the 2006 Perkin Medal, won this year by Dr. Jim Stevens of Dow Chemical. The Scholarship includes a cash award, and a trip to the Perkin Medal award dinner at the Society of Chemical Industry in Philadelphia. Congratulations Brian!
