An Art-Chem Zine for the UW – Madison Chemistry Community
Frequently Asked Questions
What is a Zine?
A zine is a self-published, non-commercial publication that can come in many forms and styles, ranging from avant-garde to punk. Zines are important because they offer space for community members to share their passions, especially work that may be too niche for traditional publications.
What is The Benzine?
What does the Editorial Board of The Benzine do?
We solicit submissions from the community, format them together, and publish The Benzine, host Art Nights in the Chemistry Building for the chemistry community to relax and unwind, and encourage the chemistry community to create and celebrate artistic pursuits.
