Post Doctoral Fellowship Position in Transplantation Immunology. An NIH-funded postdoctoral position is available immediately at the Medical College of Wisconsin in the field of experimental bone marrow transplantation. Projects available for study include the pathophysiology of graft versus host disease (GVHD) (Chen et al, Blood 114, 2009), the role of proinflammatory cytokines in GVHD biology (Das et al, Blood 113, 2009), the pathophysiological basis for the autoimmunity that occurs as a consequence of GVHD (Chen et al, Blood, 110, 2007), and the modulation of graft versus leukemia reactivity post allogeneic stem cell transplantation.  Applicants must have an MD/PhD with substantial research experience.  A strong foundation in cellular immunology and/or prior experience working with murine models is preferred.  Please send curriculum vitae, a summary of research experience and the names of three references to: wdrobysk@mcw.edu.
