To accept or decline your admission to the Department of Chemistry once you have been admitted, please fill out the admissions response form.
Step 1: Graduate paths - Learn about the six graduate paths, or areas of specialization. You will be asked to indicate the path of greatest interest on the application.
Step 2: Typical qualifications for graduate program admission (includes degree, GPA, English proficiency, and GRE requirements for application to the department)
If you meet all prescreening requirements, proceed to Part 3.
If you do not meet all prescreening requirements, do not proceed to Part 3; instead, stop at Part 2 and submit a special consideration email form if appropriate. Our graduate student services coordinator will respond to your special consideration email form; she may recommend that you proceed to Part 3 and apply even if you do not meet all prescreening requirements.
Step 3: How to Apply - If you met all the typical qualifications for admission, or if you have submitted a special consideration form and have been advised to apply to our graduate program, then view the eight steps to a complete application for admission to our graduate program.
Step 4. How to Accept Offer - If you have received an offer and reached a decision, please fill out the "Admissions Response Form". Decisons should be made by April 15.
